There will be a free showcase of the documentary film “SAR” at the Ouray International Film Festival on the evening of Friday, June 21, at Fellin Park. The film chronicles backcountry Search and Rescue volunteers in southern Colorado as they fight through both the mental and physical demands needed to keep the backcountry safe and accessible for all people.
The next morning, on Saturday, June 22, several veteran OMRT members will be on stage at the Wright Opera House for a Q & A about local rescue operations in Ouray County.
